Responsibilities:
- Collects all linen for laundering
- Maintains housekeeping carts
- Walk all assigned floors at the beginning and end of the shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, and soiled linen
- Pick up clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry
- Deliver towels, cribs, cots, and other items to the guest rooms on request
- Sort linen, stock room attendant closets
- Clean all public areas
- Respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues
- Report to work in the required uniform and adherence with the Dress Code Policy
- Must be able to work independently and as a team player
Requirements:
- Prior work experience in a hotel environment or similar role is ideal, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
- Marriott experience beneficial
- Must be able to work a flexible evening schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish speaking) is a plus
