As a Line Cook at Volaré, you will :
- Prepare and cook menu items following recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards to ensure appealing and flavorful plates.
- Compose plates with attention to detail, ensuring each dish is visually appealing and meets quality standards.
- Execute cooking tasks in a timely manner to maintain service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Label and date all prepared food items for proper storage, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle and store food items using sanitary practices to meet food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including coolers, storage areas, and workstations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to operating guidelines and maintenance protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and management to uphold high standards of service and food quality.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper food handling, temperature checks, and sanitation practices.
