Housekeeping Assistant Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant Manager to support our Housekeeping Manager in overseeing and managing our housekeeping operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in housekeeping management, preferably within the hospitality or commercial cleaning industry, with proven experience in supervising and leading a team. Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness and orderliness.
• Inspect various areas after cleaning to ensure it meets company standards.
• Work efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Provide support to housekeepers as needed, including stripping linens, delivering housekeeping supplies, and taking out trash.
• Help develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to address guest needs and requests.
• Manage and supervise housekeeping, Laundry, and Houseman staff to ensure all rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized properly.
• Stock and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Train new housekeeping, laundry, and houseman employees on proper cleaning techniques.

Requirements

• Experience in housekeeping management or a similar role.
• Knowledge of housekeeping practices and procedures.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to work Weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
