Housekeeping Room Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management and a passion for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including hospitality settings such as hotels. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for all guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and other common areas.
• Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Conduct floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment for custodial tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional service to guests by responding to their requests and maintaining a friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and floor care practices.
• Knowledge of custodial procedures in hospitality settings is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting or moving items.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
