Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service and a keen understanding of the food industry, particularly in fine dining settings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service while enjoying their meals.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that each guest's experience is pleasant and enjoyable.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals.
- Handle banquet service for special events, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction before they leave the establishment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or food service roles is preferred, especially in fine dining environments.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members alike.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with creating specialty coffee is a plus but not required.
