We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our Marriott team. This position involves preparing and serving breakfast items, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and providing exceptional guest relations. Hours are 6:00am - 11:00am
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring all food items are fresh and presented attractively.
- Serve breakfast items to guests, ensuring timely and friendly service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and cleaning up spills or messes promptly.
- Manage the cash register for any breakfast-related transactions, ensuring accuracy in handling payments.
- Communicate effectively with guests to ensure their needs are met and address any concerns they may have.
- Assist with catering events as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during breakfast service.
- Utilize OpenTable or similar systems for managing guest reservations if required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Ability to maintain a clean work environment and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Experience with bussing tables and catering services is a plus.
- Familiarity with cash register operations is beneficial.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role.
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts as required.
