Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management, particularly within the hospitality industry, and will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to maintain cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
• Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services in a professional manner.
• Implement and enforce policies related to cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in accordance with hotel standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.
• Maintain records of staff performance and conduct regular evaluations to support professional development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and industrial cleaning methods.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is preferred.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
