Night Auditor

The Courtyard by Marriott Lake Buena Vista is currently hiring for a Night Auditor, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM. This position requires strong knowledge of Front Office operations as well as Accounting.

Job Description:

* Responsible to balance the house; must be able to prepare audit run, balance all F&B paperwork and transactions, and act as Manager on Duty as needed.

* Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists

* Greet guests and provide them with assistance and information as requested.

* Help guests with information about the hotel and the local area/city.

* Check guests in and out of the hotel.

* Ability to work well with other departments.

* Responsible for balancing their assigned cash bank.

* Answer internal or external phone calls in a pleasant and professional manner.

* Adhere to company policies & procedures at all times.

Requirements/Qualifications:

* The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and detailed oriented, with exceptional English language communication skills.

* Excellent communication and organizational skills with a friendly and courteous disposition and personality.

* Maintain good, neat, personal appearance at all times.

* Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.

* Knowledge of computers and cash handling experience is mandatory.

* Self-motivated, friendly, upbeat, and outgoing person who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

* Previous Front Desk experience in a hotel is an asset.

* Previous FOSSE PMS Experience is preferred.

* FLEXIBILITY IN SHIFTS: Ability to work graveyard shift on any day is absolutely required.
