Come join our award-winning team as a Bistro Lead at the beautiful Courtyard by Marriott in Orem. Position is full-time (32-40 hours/week). Must be available nights, Tue- Sat or Wed- Sun sometimes altering days depending on weekly needs, in addition some afternoons or Mornings on occasion to help F&B Manager with banquets and additional tasks.

Essential Functions:
- Perform basic tasks required for Bistro server and cook
- Coordinate daily front and back of house Bistro operations
- Assistant to the Food and Beverage Manager
- Take orders from customers, handle transactions
- Prepare food, coffee and alcoholic Beverages (including cocktails)
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints as the MOD
- Deliver superior food and beverage service by helping employees uphold brand standards to maximize customer satisfaction
- Oversee the dining room: check-in with customers, follow up with all tables in the dining room
- Assist when there are special banquet events, coordinating menu Cooking and service
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with restaurant software, (Micros or other POS)
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Must possess good organization/time management skills
