Position Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and comfortable guest rooms and public areas in accordance with Marriott brand standards and JSK Hospitality expectations. This role is essential in ensuring an excellent guest experience by providing a spotless and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms, suites, and public areas including bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and floors.
- Make beds, change linens, vacuum carpets, dust, and replenish amenities.
- Follow daily room assignment schedule and complete rooms within the designated timeframe.
- Report maintenance issues, damage, or suspicious activity to management immediately.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain Marriott cleanliness and service standards at all times.
- Provide courteous and professional service to guests, responding to requests promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel environment is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods.
