What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Courtyard By Marriott- Stow?
Ensure that all maintenance functions, including preventative maintenance are completed in a timely manner and are safety compliant.
- Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
- Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC
- Responds to guest complaints in a timely manner
- Fulfills work orders in a timely manner
- Completes daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
- Reports to Chief Engineer and performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years in a hotel maintenance position
- knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, and pools and spas
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Basic math skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
- Excellent time management skills
