The wait staff position includes taking food and beverage orders from guests, and serving food and beverages to guests. Wait staff must be able to describe in detail food and beverage items on the menu to guests and make suggestions to guests. Inform kitchen staff of any dietary requirements, or allergies. Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant. Do beginning and end shift work. Have the ability to use P.O.S. system. Provide excellent guest service and ensure guest satisfaction, making the guest want to return time and again.
Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, carry for hours at a time.
Must be able to speak, read and write English clearly
Has a basic knowledge of Food and Beverage
Ability to uphold service standards
Must have a flexible schedule and be is able to work holidays and weekends
