Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers to take drink orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and handling regulations at all times.
- Assist in catering events as needed, providing excellent service in various settings.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food industry, including fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including brewing methods.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices related to alcohol service.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn new skills related to bartending and catering.
