AM/PM Bistro Attendant

Morning shift: 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM, totaling an average of 30-35 hours per week. Starting pay for this position is $12.50 per hour shared tips. (State minimum wage during training)

As a Bistro Attendant, your role is vital in ensuring our guests have an amazing experience at our Bistro. You will engage with our hotel guests, serving them delicious food and beverages while maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers and take their orders for drinks and snacks, ensuring prompt and accurate service.
• Prepare and cook menu items, presenting them in an appetizing manner.
• Create and showcase a diverse bar menu, offering enticing choices to our guests.
• Serve snacks and drinks attentively, paying attention to guests' preferences and recommending suitable options.
• Adhere to age requirements for the purchase of alcohol and tobacco products by checking guests' identification.
• Skillfully mix ingredients to craft cocktails and other beverages, following standardized recipes.
• Provide exceptional wine and beer service to our guests, displaying knowledge and enthusiasm.
• Maintain an attractive display of bottles and glassware, adding to the overall ambiance.
• Assess customer needs and preferences, offering suggestions and upselling opportunities.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar counter and work area, creating an inviting environment.
• Offer guidance to guests regarding resort activities, dining options, and general information about the resort and the region.
• Recognize when a customer has consumed enough alcohol and politely refuse further service if necessary.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our food and beverage products, menus, and promotions.
• Safely handle and move objects such as glasses and bottles, prioritizing guest and staff safety.
• Clean up after customers, maintaining a tidy work area.
• Wash glassware and utensils thoroughly after each use to uphold hygiene standards.
• Keep the working area clean through regular sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning as needed.
• Engage in physical activities like lifting and stooping to fulfill job requirements.
• Manage liquor inventory and consumption, ensuring stock availability.
• Collect payment for drinks served, accurately balance receipts, and handle cash following hotel standards.
• Prepare inventory or purchase requisitions to replenish supplies as necessary.
• Ensure the assigned bar area is fully equipped with the necessary tools and products for serving guests and preparing beverages.
• Prioritize guest satisfaction, providing an exceptional experience through your attentive service.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Fulfill any other duties assigned by the hotel management, contributing to the overall success of our team.
