Key Responsibilities:
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Menu Execution: Assist in menu planning and execution for evening service, including specials and seasonal items.
- Food Safety: Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
- Cleaning Duties: Perform cleaning tasks throughout the kitchen, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas, to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Customer Interaction: Occasionally engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and accommodate special dietary requests.
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of times
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
