Available Shifts:
PM Shifts are usually 3pm-11pm, based on hotel occupancies and how many check-ins and check outs for the day.
Training is usually around 6 to 7 shifts until one is comfortable with the systems and familiar with the properties. Almost always, with our part time staff during the peak months, we have a second person scheduled.

Position Summary:
The Guest Service Agent is responsible for representing the property’s service commitment to guests. They are to assist our guests efficiently, courteously and professionally in all front office related functions to maintain standards of service and hospitality. They handle guests check-in and checkout process, maintains status of rooms and directs incoming calls accordingly. The Guest Service Agent fulfills the duties of the traditional desk clerk position with greater emphasis on service to the guest and up selling of hotel services. The ideal individual for filling this position is a vibrant, “upbeat”, and outgoing person who can relate to guests appropriately and handle their needs efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Check in guests using computer programs/equipment and provide guests with directions to their room
- Inform customers of all on-site amenities and any relevant information that is needed to use them
- Handle and resolve guest complaints
- Invoice and bill guests for their stay and services used
- Communicate with guests to better understand their individual needs to provide them with the best service possible
- Answer phone and direct calls to correct department
- Make new and change existing reservations
- Interact with guests in Lobby area
- Monitor lobby and common area for cleanliness

Education Requirement: High school graduate or equivalent. Previous hotel front office experience preferred, however, ability gained through 2 years related employment (sales, cashier) or on-the-job training may substitute for actual front office experience.
