Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring that all items are fresh and well-presented.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and other amenities as needed.
- Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning preferred; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service in a hotel environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
