Laundry Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry services are performed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our facility, particularly in a hotel environment where guest satisfaction is paramount.

Responsibilities

• Clean and launder linens, towels, and guest clothing according to established procedures.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and effectively.
• Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for easy distribution.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred, especially in a hotel setting.
• Familiarity with laundering processes, including dry cleaning techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as required.
