The Courtyard by Marriott Tuscaloosa is looking for a Maintenance Engineer. Ability to assist with maintaining guest rooms and property. Pool/HVAC/Plumbing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing and HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on facilities, documenting findings in a CMMS.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and manage maintenance schedules effectively.
- Utilize electrical and welding skills as needed to support various maintenance projects.
Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will utilize your core skills in mechanical knowledge, schematics, and facilities maintenance to address issues related to plumbing and HVAC systems. Your premium skills in electrical experience and programmable logic controllers will enhance our operational efficiency. Additionally, your relevant experience in customer service and leadership will support a collaborative work environment, ensuring high standards of maintenance and service delivery.
