Room Attendant/Housekeeping

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and custodial services, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, safe, and impeccably clean for guests and staff alike.

Duties

• Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, providing training and support to ensure high-quality cleaning standards.
• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and protocols to maintain cleanliness in all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and available.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around events or peak occupancy times.
• Address any guest concerns or feedback regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
• Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, supply usage, and maintenance requests.

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning techniques, and floor care procedures.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with hotel operations is preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
