Job Summary:
Courtyard Gardens Senior Living is 79 unit assisted living facility in Boynton Beach, Florida. We are a family owned business who personalizes their approach to the senior industry. We make a difference in each of our resident's lives by offering a managed care approach to assisted living.
This is an opportunity for somebody to learn the assisted living industry and grow their skills. The chosen candidate will work hand in hand with our Food and Beverage Director, who has worked high-end restaurants and trained with multiple celebrity chefs. She has a passion for seniors and has worked in this industry for over 10 years.
By joining our food services team as a new or seasoned server, you will be working with our entire management team to help make a difference in all of our resident's lives!
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for setting-up meal trays in accordance to diet orders and tray cards, ensuring residents are served proper diet and food preferences in a timely manner.
- Keeps the kitchen, dietary equipment, and dining room clean and sanitary at all times, including work areas and floors and according to assignment.
- Operates the dishwasher and properly stores pots, dishes and utensils.
- Ensures proper labeling of foods to be stored.
- Assists in minor preparation of food and is responsible for serving meals, snacks, and beverages using portion control and applicable sanitation practices.
- Greets residents, visitors, and staff courteously, and in a manner that respects dignity, confidentiality standards and promotes residents and staff rights.
- Resets the dining room for the next meal and makes sure supplies are available for the next meal.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
