What are the responsibilities and job description for the BISTRO Bartender position at Courtyard Lebanon - Hanover?
Position Summary
As a Bartender, you’re responsible for servicing guests and preparing beverage orders and courteously and efficiently serving food and beverages to guests in the food and beverage outlet. Responsible for maintenance of bar area and support the restaurant & hotel staff.
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bars and restaurants, in
- Anticipate Guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all Guests, making
- Take Guests’ food and beverage orders, utilizing suggestive selling techniques.
- Complete opening duties as assigned, including check quality and quantity of all
- Must be TIPS and Food Safety certified as required.
- Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety
- Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve
- Follow safety and security procedures.
Physical Requirements:
The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently to assist guests
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel
Ascend and descend a ladder
