Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide essential care to our residents, in a home like setting. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities, to include, bathing, toileting, feeding and transferring.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Transfer resident to include, one person, two person assist and Hoyer lifts.
- Assist resident with meal set up and feed those that need assistance being fed.
- Maintain resident dignity and safety.
- Assist with light cleaning and laundry.
- Documentation through Quick MAR for ADL's
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of client information.
- Accountability of good attendance and showing up on time.
- Able to get along and work well with others.
Experience
- Previous experience working with individuals in a long-term setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
- Able to pass a physical.
- Able to pass a background check.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
