Job Description
Supervises Directly: Guest Service Representatives, Night Auditors.
Purpose for the Position: To be responsible for the Front Office function in accordance with the Courtyard by Marriott Austin Pflugerville, company and brand standards.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Monitors the performance of the property through verification and analysis of customer satisfaction systems and financial reconciliations.
- Reports and initiates corrective action.
- Maintains product and service quality standards by conducting on-going evaluations and investigating.
- Implements and maintains effective two way communication systems which reach all employees.
- Manages in compliance with established company policies and procedures.
- Knowledgeable in all Front Desk duties and supervises Guest Service Representatives on duty.
- Maintains standards of guest service quality, face to face and telephone.
Job Requirements:
- Read and interpret business records and statistical reports.
- Use mathematical skills to interpret financial information and prepare budgets.
- Analyze and interpret established policies.
- Understand the government regulations covering business operation.
- Make business decisions based on productions reports and similar facts as well as on your own experience and personal opinions.
- See differences in widths and lengths of lines such as those on graphs.
- Deal with the general public, customers, employee, union and government officials with tact and courtesy.
- Plan and organize the work of others.
- Change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.
- Speak and write clearly.
- Accept full responsibility for managing an activity.
To do this job, you must have the following amounts of total education and/or experience:
High school diploma and/or four (2) years supervisory experience in a limited service hotel
