Opportunity: Houseman
Fairfield Philadelphia-Broomall is currently seeking a friendly individual with open availability to support the housekeeping department.
Essential Job Functions
- To assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all hotel standards of service and hospitality
- Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.
- Promptly and effectively deal with guest complaints and requests
- Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, surrounding area
- Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable
- Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls
- Stock our Market and Bistro with supplies
- Communicate with incoming staff and management by logging pertinent information
- Keep maintenance informed of all maintenance needs
- Must wear proper uniform at all times
- Be able to move luggage or packages weighing up to 40 pounds
- Employee must have reliable transportation and able to work weekends and holidays
- Assist housekeeping in down times
- Perform other duties requested per management
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
Position Requirements
- Previous hotel experience is preferred
- Previous customer service experience required
- Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
High School diploma preferred.
Understand and communicate in English.
Work Environment and Context
- Work schedule varies and includes working on holidays, weekends.
- Required to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds
