What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle Driver position at Courtyard Shreveport Airport?
Responsible for driving hotel shuttle to pick up and drop off guests, and other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests, making their stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible while achieving team and Brand goals.
Perform quality assurance (QA) requirements for department.
Drive hotel vehicle(s) as assigned.
Drive safely, within posted speed limits and in a defensive manner.
Report any vehicle problems to management immediately, i.e., problems with brakes, wipers, lights, tires, etc.
Pickup and or drop-off guests at the airport.
Assist guests by loading and unloading luggage.
Record details of trips such as destinations, passengers, etc.
Ensure vehicle(s) are properly maintained, fueled, and clean – inside and out.
May be required to perform minor repair, maintenance, and trouble-shooting, i.e.
change flat tires, charge batteries, etc.
Maintain security for guests and property by ensuring doors are locked.
May be required to perform light housekeeping duties.
Pick up trash inside and outside property.
Report outage of lights inside and outside property.
Remain highly visible and be readily available for guests at all times.
Take initiative to offer assistance or answer questions throughout the hotel.
Proper administration of key control.
Willingness and ability to train new associates.
Complete maintenance work orders and deliver to the supervisor in a timely manner.
Thoroughly understand and implement the Brand service culture.
Perform other duties as required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prompt and regular attendance.
Work flexible hours and/or overtime as required. The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work and overtime as required.
Comply with hotel and/or department uniform and professional behavior and appearance standards.
Carry out all reasonable requests by team leaders and managers and act as a team player with all levels of staff.
