Responsibilities:
Manages the day to day hotel operations in keeping with all corporate standards and brand standards, if applicable. Maximize profitability, as well as, guest and team member satisfaction. Communicates with hotel ownership and corporate procurement, accounting and human resources offices, as required. Ensures the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
- Approves hotel department budgets, defining and directing changes, as required. Facilitates the preparation of hotel budgets and forecasts for corporate submission and approvals.
- Reviews forecasts and balanced scorecard. Directs hotel actions required maximizing profitability, increasing service levels and improving team member satisfaction.
- Ensures hotel implementation and compliance of corporate policies and procedures as well as brand standards.
- Oversees the sales and marketing activity and results. Leads and/or participates in sales and marketing strategy meetings. Participates in efforts to secure business, and new business opportunities as needed.
- Recruits, selects, hires, supervises, trains, coaches, disciplines and conducts performance evaluations for department heads and all department personnel in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures and applicable laws.
- Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment, as well as, develops the skills and abilities of direct reports within the hotel.
- Communication with hotel ownership regarding results and aligning strategic plans for the future development of their hotel.
Qualifications
- Four-year (4) degree, preferred.
- Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in a hotel or a related field, in similarly-sized hotels, preferred.
- Hotel management experience required.
- Branded Marriott experience required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
