What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Bistro Attendant position at Courtyard Wilmington Downtown?
This position is a tipped hourly position and works in the early hours of the morning.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Adhere to all local county and CN Hotels food safety and sanitation techniques at all times – before, during and after breakfast hours
- Complete all tasks assigned by Bistro Manager or any management level personnel in a timely manner in accordance with hotel and local health standards.
- Transports all items needed for food service from storeroom, kitchen or other areas.
- Sets up the hotel breakfast for service according to established standards.
- Greets the guests as they arrive and follow Marriott Service Standards.
- Busses and re-sets empty tables within 3 minutes of the guest departure.
- Re-stocks the breakfastas needed during service.
- Breaks down and cleans up after the completion of all scheduled shifts, completing assigned side work functions.
- Responds quickly and courteously to guest requests.
- Follows all company/department policies, procedures, and standards.
- Thoroughly familiar with all related HAZCOM information, MSDS for any chemicals in use, Blood Borne Pathogen prevention and appropriate response.
- Follows all Safety handling procedures and is familiar with Emergency Procedures.
- Presents a professional image at all times through appearance and behavior.
- Clean breakfast seating area, counters and keep the breakfast pantry clean and organized.
- Train and monitor any additional breakfast personnel.
- Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by the Management level personnel.
- From time to time, it may be necessary to be available 24 hours, on an on-call basis.
- May be required to work at other times than normally scheduled hours. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- From time to time, you will need to assist in other additional duties requested by management or corporate office.
- Punctual Attendance is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 40 per week
