Software Data Broker Developer
JOB SUMMARY
Covalent Solutions (Covalent) is seeking a mission driven, highly motivated and collaborative Software Data Broker Developers who are truly excited about building great products for the New York City Department of Social Services. As a Software Data Broker, you will apply your skills to design / implement software to drive projects forward and efficiently meet project and business objectives. We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a mission-driven organization.
This opportunity is full-time with Covalent and is on-site in Brooklyn, New York.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to :
Work with the project manager to define success metrics and criteria.
Ensuring the program / project meets success parameters and business objectives stated in the project plan and charter.
Providing transparency and communication on project status and risks to project stakeholders.
Perform software development tasks throughout the SDLC focusing on middleware technologies to deliver quality software solutions to the client.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's or Master's in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Work Experience
4 years of experience in SDLC including middleware technologies.
4 years of experience of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders and business concepts to the IT workforce.
4 years of experience in understanding of current and emerging middleware technologies and the best practices.
4 years of experience of excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, planning, and execution skills.
4 years of experience of ability to build partnerships with other stakeholders inside of the IT organization.
4 years of experience working in a team environment on large applications; (b) team leadership; (c) can demonstrate their knowledge of object-oriented programming methodology.
4 years of experience of excellent experience with Java / JEE development
4 years of experience of strong knowledge of RESTful services, SOAP services, WSDL, XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath.
4 years of experience of strong knowledge of MQ Queues, channels, and MQ attributes.
4 years of experience of working experience with certificates (SSL), Public / private keys.
4 years of experience of strong experience with Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, IBM integration Bus (IIB), APP connect Enterprise (ACE), Toolkit, IBM MQ Explorer, and Oracle SQL Developer.
4 years of experience of strong experience working with JAVA, IBM?s JAVA based Extended Structured Query Language (ESQL), and development tools such as IBM Integration Toolkit, IBM MQ Explorer, and Oracle SQL Developer Oracle Business Process
4 years of experience in management (OBPM), IBM Data power, IBM WebSphere Message Broker, and other integration technologies.
