About the role
Reporting to the Supervisor, the Heavy Equipment Operator , you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of ash and / or waste around the Reworld campus.
Responsibilities include :
- Operate various pieces of equipment and machinery to facilitate the receipt, transfer, stockpile, process, and unloading of municipal solid waste into the refuse pit using a frontend loader, skid steer, sweeper, etc..
- Maintain effective equipment checks (pre and post-operations)
- Ensure employees conduct business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Perform facility inspection checks as assigned by Supervisor
- Follow and enforce all required Reworld safety policies and procedures
