What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counselor Master's degree (Adults Outpatient) position at COVE Behavioral Health?
As a counselor you will provide clinical intervention and case management for patients at risk for or diagnosed with substance use and/or co-occurring mental health disorders.
Scope of Work

- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Provide case management services for patients.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain clinical records.
- Submit reports as required.
- Participate in clinical staffing and team meetings.
- Make referrals to appropriate resource agencies.
- Provide feedback to resources agencies.
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary.
- Participate in staff development activities.
Education and Experience:
- Master's degree with minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Must be able to pass background and drug screen prior to start date.
Job Type: Full-time (Nonexempt).
