Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Data Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and compliance and be proficient in various data tools and technologies.
Duties
- Responsible for ensuring the agency and staff maintain current credentials, licenses, and certifications to work within their designated positions.
- Read and interpret license and credential applications to assure compliance with requirements.
- Works with Human Resources (HR) in order to successfully complete the onboarding process of newly hired Psychiatrists, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Case Manager Supervisors, and any other licensed/certified staff that requires credentialing.
- Monitor upcoming renewal dates and work with staff to advise them of the requirements to maintain credentials.
- Responsible for set-up and maintenance of credentialing information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Acts as backup for Outpatient Utilization Management (UM) completing insurance eligibility verification, obtaining insurance authorizations, etc.
- Enters data for state billing.
