What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Maintenance Technician position at Cove Communities?
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Handling repairs and maintenance.
- Operate landscaping equipment such as mower, weed whacker/edger, chainsaw, blower
- Operate garbage compactor.
- Perform routine maintenance of buildings such as fixing structural damage like window, door, wall repair, painting
- Repair leaks, plumbing issues, change water fixtures
- Maintains Certified Pool Operator license.
- Operate power equipment such as saws, sanders, drills
- Always follows all operational and safety procedures
Required Skills/Abilities
- Highly skilled in the use of tools and equipment (Bobcat, backhoe, lawn mower)
- Knowledge on carpentry, plumbing, underground piping, and minor electrical
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective long-term relationships with both residents and employees.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under high stress situations.
- Professional presentation and attitude.

Experience
Preferred
