What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pro Shop Associate position at Cove Communities?
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests in the golf shop.
- Ensure proper member and guest check in and fee collection.
- Keep the Pro Shop in a neat and orderly condition.
- Assist in the pricing of merchandise and inventory control.
- Follow daily opening and closing procedure in an orderly manner.
- Answer telephones.
- Assist with tournament operations as needed.
- Assist with receiving and displaying new merchandise and shop displays.
- Provide exceptional service to members and guests on a daily basis.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexibility with schedule with evening and weekend work required
- Knowledge of golf highly preferred
