What are the responsibilities and job description for the STARTER - RANGER position at Cove Communities?
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- To be an Ambassador for Cove Communities at all times by choosing your attitude each day and committing to a culture of service, hospitality and accountability
- To treat all internal and external customers with respect and embrace your role as a problem solver who is committed to continual improvement and exceeding guest expectations by living Cove’s Core Values
- Greets customers and assists with inquiries
- Displays positive and enthusiastic attitude at all times
- Calls the golfers to start game when ready
- Ensures scorecards are available and replenish as needed
- Works closely with the Car/Bag Attendant to meet tee time deadlines
- Monitors golfers to ensure compliance with policy and no outside beverages enter the course
- Assists golfers to play within pace of play guidelines
- Empties the trash from the trash containers on the golf course
- As needed replenishes water coolers on the golf course
- Assists range and other golf course staff as needed
- Utilizes company radio with direct and clear communication
- Helps with tournament organization and prep work
- Supports and follows Cove Communities policy at all times
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Golf expertise preferred
- Must hold current driver’s license or driving permit
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to function well in a high pace, sometimes high stress environment
