Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
• Ensure that all dishware is properly stored in designated areas after cleaning.
• Support the bussing of tables during peak service times to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food handling practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a catering or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
