As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Director to join our team at our Compton and Greater Los Angeles locations.
Job Overview :
The Medical Director will oversee clinical operations and provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team in either the Compton or Greater Los Angeles (GLA) locations. The role will involve a mix of clinical and administrative responsibilities, with a focus on providing high-quality care for a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have experience in value-based care, a passion for geriatric care, and a collaborative approach to leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead clinical operations at the Compton or GLA locations, overseeing a team that includes Nurse Practitioners, RNs, and clinic staff.
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up for participants.
- Develop and formalize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve patient satisfaction, care quality, and outcomes.
- Participate in a call rotation, with a manageable burden, and receive additional compensation for on-call shifts.
- Maintain oversight and provide guidance on medical practices, procedures, and patient care standards.
- Collaborate with social workers, MHCs, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Supervise and manage administrative duties, including 20-25% of management time for staff and operations oversight.
- Ensure a seamless patient enrollment process with appropriate assessments, care level development, and touchpoints with non-physician staff.
- Report directly to the Regional Medical Officer and contribute to regional strategy and decision-making.
