ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meets all responsibility requirements established by management.
- Data entry
- Light lab duties (embedding, organizing paraffin blocks, changing reagents in automated lab equipment, loading microscope slides on automated strainers, loading tissue processors, etc.)
- Receives laboratory telephone calls.
- Scans and files documents as needed.
Pay range: Min $21.00- Max $22.00

Required Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 24 semester hours of science courses that include six semester hours of chemistry, biology or medical laboratory technology in any combination (preferred but not required).
- Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Must be able to type at least 40 wpm.
- Accuracy (in every facet) is a must.
- Laboratory and/or histology experience preferred.
- Must be able to function under time pressure.
- Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Excellent hand and eye coordination.
