What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Direct Support Professional position at Covenant Case Management Services?
Covenant Case Management Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide Respite and Community Living Services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will play a crucial role in assisting individuals in achieving their employment goals and maintaining a fulfilling and independent lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support, assistance, and companionship.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Ensure the individual's safety and well-being in the home and community.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, including those with seizure disorders, preferred but not required.
- Experience with seizure disorders preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Part Time, Contract
- Saturdays (8am-8 pm), more hours possible in the future (Saturday hours may be flexible)
