Expected Duties and Responsibilities :
Dress and act in a professional manner.Maintain a positive attitude and use language that cultivates a positive image of Covenant College.Participate in the Planted Leadership context in April and other Planted initiatives.Participate in a two-day training program before the start of the school year.Attend all Ambassador meetings throughout the year.Practice hospitality in all contexts including tours, lunches, overnight stays, phone conversations, and reception and also outside the Admissions context.Be trained in tours, panels, meals, Slate management, visit planning, student and parent communication, and phones.Be on time for all work shifts and communicate ahead of time with the supervisor if unable to work.Learn all systems of the office including golf carts, phones, Slate, Microsoft Office and the G-suite.Learn the basic history of Covenant.Be available during Admissions events to host students, give tours, and lead the student body in hospitality.Assist in office management including cleaning, storage runs, rolling t-shirts, preparing mailings, restocking snacks and beverages, and other duties as assigned.Stay in regular contact with your supervisor and respond to emails and texts in a timely manner.Participate in the GroupMe Ambassador text group.Promptly respond to all meeting requests from the Visit Coordinator.Cheerfully complete any other requests from the Visit Team.Adhere to the student employment requirements including time clock usage and timely submission of timecards.Resume skills development (NACE Competencies required by employers) to be developed

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
Physical Demands
Standing & Walking : Will walk for approximately an hour at a time when giving tours.
