Job Description

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a field-first, execution-driven Superintendent who thrives in the chaos of the jobsite and knows how to drive production without sacrificing quality. You’ll take full command of your project’s field operations from mobilization through punch list. You’re confident running a tight site, coordinating with trades, and keeping schedules aggressive and realistic. Precision matters here—you must be meticulous when it comes to comparing what’s getting built to what’s actually on the approved plans. If you can hold subs accountable, maintain client trust, and keep production flowing—we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own all on-site construction activities—site prep, logistics, sequencing, and execution.
  • Lead subcontractor coordination, jobsite scheduling, and material delivery timing.
  • Maintain daily logs, safety records, and real-time updates in Procore.
  • Track schedule milestones and communicate critical issues to the PM and Director of Construction.
  • Enforce site safety and quality standards at all times.
  • Lead daily huddles, walkthroughs, and subcontractor check-ins.
  • Manage inspections, punch lists, and closeout with zero hand-holding.
  • Review drawings and specs carefully—flag deviations from approved plans and ensure field execution aligns with design intent.
  • Represent the company professionally to clients, inspectors, and neighbors.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Superintendent experience in commercial or hospitality construction.
  • Proven ability to run ground-up builds, including site work, utility coordination, and vertical construction.
  • Proficient in Procore, Excel, and general construction tech (iPads, schedules, daily logs).
  • Obsessed with detail—especially when it comes to plan accuracy and install verification.
  • Able to read and mark up architectural, structural, and MEP drawings with precision.
  • Must be comfortable traveling to projects across Central Florida (most within day-trip range).

Preferred but not required Qualifications:

  • Experience with hotel renovations on compressed schedules (15 rooms/day turnover)
  • Strong bilingual communication skills (Spanish a plus, not required)
  • Background in site safety, quality control, or value engineering
  • Experience training or mentoring assistant supers or foremen
