**Job Description:**
The Medical Assistant II role at Fort Loudoun Primary Care involves providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. As a member of our care team, you will work closely with providers to ensure seamless delivery of services to our patients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform patient assessments and take vital signs and weight.
- Support providers during examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
- Administer medications per provider order and policy.
- Train and orient new staff members as needed.
- Document all patient interactions and interventions in the medical record.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members.
**Requirements:**
One year of experience as a certified Medical Assistant from a recognized certifying organization. American Heart Association BLS certification required.
