This role involves providing receiving and warehousing functions under the general supervision of the Manager of Materials Distribution.
The ideal candidate will be able to utilize the HMS system effectively and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and processing of inbound deliveries from vendors
- Enters receipt transactions using the HMS system
- Labels all items in the supply storeroom correctly and timely
- Organizes and maintains accurate records of stock levels and inventory
- Provides training and education to peer staff on topics such as stock issues, receiving, labeling, etc.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in healthcare materials management preferred.
