This position involves working closely with our experienced nursing staff to provide exceptional care to patients with various types of cancer. You will be required to have oncology infusion experience, BLS-AHA certification, and NIH Stroke Certification. Your primary duties will include providing direct patient care, coordinating treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Educating patients and their families about cancer treatment options and side effects
• Coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery
• Documenting patient information and treatment plans accurately
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
• Oncology infusion experience (at least 1 year)
• BLS-AHA certification (Basic Life Support – American Heart Association)
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Schedule Information
The schedule for this position includes Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM). There are no weekend requirements. Unit-specific information may require additional certifications, which can be found in the unit description.
Travel Reimbursement
Local candidates within a 75-mile radius of the facility are eligible for reimbursement. Please note that requests for time off during holidays or holiday weeks will not be accommodated.
