Summary
The Emergency Department Technician II is an essential member of the Patient-Focused Care Team. Performs patient care and other related duties with supervision following established policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained before completion of orientation.
- High School Diploma/GED required. Two years associate degree preferred.
- Medical Assistant certification from the American Assoc. of Medical Assistants, the National Center for Competency Testing, or the National Health Career Association, or EMT- Advanced/Paramedic License with the State of Maine required.
- Basic Life Support certification is required at the time of hire.
