Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Manager is accountable for leading the digital marketing team, creating and executing Covenant Health’s digital marketing strategy. This encompasses the website, email, social media, search engine optimization, display, and related channels that drive differentiated performance.

 

The Digital Marketing Manager will work directly under the Chief Communications Officer in the marketing department. We are a dynamic team looking to build up our online capability and presence to deliver an exceptional user experience. This position will work closely with internal resources and external agencies to facilitate a comprehensive digital marketing strategy with a focus on SEO.

Responsibilities

  • Creates a cohesive digital marketing strategy in conjunction with the overall marketing strategy and business goals aligned to drive revenue and increase brand awareness.
  • Builds digital marketing processes and creates tactics, initiatives, and strategies to improve business outcomes and consumer experience.
  • Recruits and manages the digital marketing team including its vision, goals, as well as the team's technical ability and education.
  • Collaborates with marketing, PR, and IT teams, as well as other internal and external resources to develop and launch digital marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborates with marketing managers from each hospital in our system to proactively understand their needs and improve the consumers’ digital marketing experience.
  • Implements, tracks, and reports key success metrics (ROI) for each campaign and marketing initiative.
  • Creates web documentation and procedures to ensure process efficiency in our project management software.
  • Develops budget recommendations and deploys budgeted funds as directed and approved by the Chief Communications Officer. Maintains accurate accounting records and manages resources to stay within budget.
  • Stays up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, and makes recommendations for new initiatives that drive digital growth and improve ROI.
  • Requires the ability to work as both a strategic thinker and hands-on doer. Meaning a significant portion of the role is high level decision making; it will also require the ability to roll up your sleeves and get the job done for day-to-day execution.
  • Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:           

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Minimum Experience:         

Four plus (4 ) years of digital marketing experience with a proven track record of leading successful teams.
