Job Title: Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner
At Covenant Health, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Hobbs, NM.
About the Role:
As a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals and families in a fast-paced clinic setting. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based care and promote health education to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provides Family Medicine care to patients as a Nurse Practitioner in the clinic following established standards and practices with minimal supervision.
- Assesses patient needs and develops individualized care plans to address their physical and emotional well-being.
- Conducts thorough medical histories, performs physical exams, and orders diagnostic tests as needed.
- Diagnoses and treats acute and chronic illnesses, as well as provides preventative care.
- Prescribes medications and other treatments as indicated by patient needs.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Succesful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
- New Mexico Registered Nurse license AND Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse recognition through New Mexico Board of Nursing.
