JOB SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse for the Integrated Medical Group will work within our provider practices to ensure that all patients received the highest quality standard of medical care expected in a medical practice. They will be responsible for providing clinical support, direction and guidance and to act as a resource to MA's on the clinical staff
and perform nursing components of a comprehensive screening on initial visits. They will perform telephone and office medical triage of patients requiring urgent attention. The RN will educate patients in various subjects depending on location of care, as needed and administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections accurately and documents accordingly.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Associates Degree in Nursing required
- Valid State of Maine RN license required
- ACLS/BLS Certification required
- 1-3 years previous experience in a clinical office setting preferred
- 1 year previous nursing experience required
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills required
- Flexibility in schedule: available to work 7:30am-8:00pm; May include Saturdays; May travel to another office for coverage on in-services
