Shift : Days, Monday-Thursday office clinics 8 : 00 am-4 : 30 pm, Friday half administration day or overflow clinic day

Experience : Open to new graduates and experienced candidates

License : Michigan license (or willing to obtain)

Certifications : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology

Must-Have :

Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
Open to H-1B visa candidates

Job Description :

Provide full-scope medical oncology and hematology care

Approximately 20% inpatient and 80% outpatient work

Split work of 30% in hematology and 70% in solid tumor cases

Current outpatient patient census is around 25 patients per clinic; inpatient volume varies and averages 5-10 patients

Work as part of a cohesive team with three full-time medical oncologists and one full-time hematologist

Support staff includes a dedicated medical assistant and clinic RN as well as two inpatient NPs

Academic affiliation potential with medical students and residents

Participate in shared call schedule with a dedicated inpatient floor close to the cancer care center and clinic

Utilize state-of-the-art technology including linear accelerators and other advanced equipment

Contribute to an environment that ranks in the top 10% nationally for patient experience

Enjoy a supportive workplace environment focused on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction

Use EPIC for electronic medical records management
