The Digital Marketing & Communications Intern demonstrates exceptional customer service by aligning their actions and attitude with Covenant HealthCare Mission, Vision, and Values. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in digital marketing, web projects, and online location management while working closely with the Digital Communications Specialist and Marketing team. The intern will gain valuable insight into healthcare marketing and digital communications, with opportunities for job shadowing and portfolio development.

Responsibilities
Assist with website and intranet updates to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Create and edit digital content, including copywriting for various marketing initiatives.
Support the organization with development on digital presence on Google Business Profiles.
Create engaging content for social media, email marketing, blogs, and website updates.
Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
Collaborate with different departments to ensure brand consistency.
Assist in tracking and analyzing digital marketing metrics.
Perform administrative tasks related to marketing, public relations, and community outreach as needed.
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the Planning & Business Development team.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma required.
Current student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Prior experience in a marketing or digital communications role is preferred but not required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to see the big picture.
Experience with website management, digital marketing, or social media is preferred.
Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing tools (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Google Analytics, Google Business Profiles, etc.) is a plus.
Understanding of digital marketing best practices and photography are a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities effectively.
